Grown in the Yuyadani Valley of Ujitawara — the birthplace of Japanese tea — this gyokuro comes from a single field farmed by the Nagatani family for over 120 years.
The Gokou cultivar is unique to Kyoto. Shaded for 30 days before harvest, it develops the deep umami sweetness that defines true gyokuro — a taste of earth, ocean, and quiet forest. No pesticides. No shortcuts.
