This square Bizen ceramic plate is formed entirely by hand — no moulds, no shortcuts. The flared edges emerge naturally from the clay, giving each piece a sculptural quality that is as much art as it is tableware.

Fired at 1200°C for over 10 days in a traditional wood-burning kiln, the finish is the result of nature itself: wood ash settles on the surface during firing, creating a unique glaze of earthy tones, subtle shadows, and warm highlights.
